"It's empty, boring and lonely." Venti told Yuki. "Sure it looks great, but when you're just a small dragon living in this huge space, everything just kinds of blurs away and your sitting in the middle of nothing. It's fine when I'm with my mom and dad, and maybe one day when I'm as big as they are it would be nice to live here, but until then I would rather live in a den like yours."

"Can't you?" Yuki asked, inside knowing the answer but asking anyway.

"My dad would explode. In fact, he almost does every time I ask him." Venti laughed. "Come on, we shouldn't keep him waiting."

"He's expecting us?" Yuki said and followed Venti. She'd learned to equate the size of the front door to the size of the dragon within, and so assumed her father to be even larger then the elder from before. She was rehearsing what she was supposed to say over and over again in her head now, in particular his name which she thought was a bit of a tongue twister.

"I told him that I was bringing you over, so he expects to meet with you." Venti told Yuki. "I'm suppose to have you announced when I arrive, but knowing him he's probably been waiting in his lair all afternoon for the meeting, so there's really no reason to bother another dragon with that.

"If you say so." Yuki said, nervous but holding in it and putting on a calm collected but thoughtful face regardless.

Venti lead Yuki inside and through the halls. It was indeed breathtaking with colorful stylish decorations covering walls and pillars, chandeliers hanging from the roof far above her and plants and statues set around to liven up the place. It was unlike anything she had seen before in the valley and really did look like the halls of a grand castle. But Venti was also right about the emptiness. Walls were far from each other and the columns almost seemed lonely by themselves. Even when she saw another dragon walking through the hall, larger than both of them, it was on the other side and may as well have been a river between them. Nothing like how the streets in town had dragons almost stepping on you if you didn't watch yourself.

Yuki was taken aback by the size of the open space. She almost felt like a human again, or how a human might have felt if they walked through a broadened grand canyon, not that she'd been there in person either.

Venti tapped Yuki on the shoulder in front of a door, showing her that it was time. "Father! I'm back home!" She called out walking through. What waited on the other side was quite the sight. The room was even larger than the ones they walked through and more decorated too. There was a grand carpet leading to the center where Venti's father Typhoon Long was resting on large pillows on top of a raised platform. Typhoon wasn't as big as the Elder as Yuki expected, in fact he was maybe only a little bigger than half the Elder's size and nearer to the dragons Yuki met at the top of the mountain on the other side. What wasn't like the other dragons or even the elder however was that he looked like a dragon. He looked fierce with eagle eyes and shining claws. His gaze bore into Yuki as they entered, his breathing even and composed, like a snake waiting to strike. At first glance he was practically terrifying.

Yuki looked up at Venti's father and was conflicted as to weather to avert her gaze or try to have some semblance of not fear... What actually happened was an absent minded stare what was both intense and at a loss of emotion. This was also for the best, because Yuki might have spoken out of turn otherwise given she'd been repeating this dragons name to herself over and over again on the flight over.

"This is the friend I told you about." Yuki told her father when they were in front of him. "I'm pleased for you to meet Snow Drift." She announced. Typhoon stared at Venti with a steel gaze, waiting.

OOC: I think you mixed up your dragons BIC: Yuki felt like she was on the spot and lowered her head in a bow instinctively, "Greetings, Radiant Typhoon Long." She said, that being the only thing she could think to say.

ooc: Yes, yes, I finally did. The dragon nodded at her. "I am glad to finally meet the friend Ventuswill has told me about. You are new to this valley. Where did you come from?" He asked in a commanding tone. "Sunset Valley Farther." Venti quickly said. "I told you remember." Typhoon's steel gaze shifted from Yuki to Venti in disapproval before going back to Yuki. "How have you been finding our Valley?. Is it to your liking?"

"It's very nice. Venti and Bliss have been exceedingly kind and helped me get acquainted nicely." Yuki said standing resolute and still liking to the large Dragon with the same look as before.

"I am pleased to see you are very well mannered." Typhoon told her. "I hope you will be a good influence to Ventuswill." Venti's posture dropped and she rolled her eyes annoyingly.

Yuki was still very focused and tilted her head lightly, "Thank you." She said simply and waited.

"Thank you Father." Venti told him. "We shall return to my room now for the rest of the day." She stood up to leave, but the dragon stopped her, his voice not as sharp this time. "Just a moment Ventuswill." The walls of the room looked like they were starting to move, but when the light fell on it they could see it was actually Typhoon's tail. It was resting all around him and not woven around his body like Venti's. The tail also seemed to move a lot more agilely than Venti's as it surrounded them. "Just hold still." Venti whispered to Yuki. "He's going to see if you're healthy."

Yuki didn't have to be told to hold still, not eager to get caught and if anything, afraid he'd see how scared she'd gotten from looking at the walls. She had basically clammed up at this point.

The end of the tail wrapped around Yuki and the experience felt strangely soothing. It only took a few seconds before Typhoon took his tail away again. "Thank him." Venti whispered.

Yuki turned quickly, "Thank you Radiant Typhoon Long." She said with another tilt of the head. She figured it was still too soon to call him the short name and had all but forgotten it by now anyway.

Typhoon nodded his approval to Yuki. "Thank you Father, we'll be going now." Venti said and started out once more, but was once again stopped by her father. "Ventus?" He said. "Yes Father?" She asked turning back. "You know your mother and I love you very much." "I know Dad." "And that if you ever needed to tell us anything that we'd always be there to here you out and try to help, no matter how small, even if we may seem very strict to you." "Yes Dad." "We just want you to be safe. We care about you a great deal." "I know you do Dad. I love you too. Can we go?" Typhoon gave a nod and Venti left the room.

"I'm good for now, thanks." Yuki said as they walked. Her mind was too abuzz with activity to notice she was actually hungry now, having not had breakfast.

"Okay." Venti said and they continued on. It took another brief walk before they got to Venti's room. This room was also pretty big with decoration everywhere, although this one had more of a theme going on with landscapes and animals. Except for some large plush toys the room was rather empty. In the middle of the room was Venti's bed, large enough to hold about five of her, and just around it was a wall of bookcases. In between the bookcases and bed it was cluttered with plush toys, other books, a desk and other miscellaneous things. In contrast to the rest of the room the middle felt like it didn't have enough space at all.

Yuki looked around and pulled the bag off she still had on. She pulled out her pillow and placed it lightly on the bed, smoothing it out. It was more a gesture so she could think without staring off into space though.

"Yuki looked around, "It's like a little kids room." she said and couldn't help but smile, "I had just started downsizing on the number of stuffed animals I had before getting here. I guess just another difference between humans and Dragons." She walked over to the book shelf to see what lined the shelf. She was hard pressed for words or enthusiasm, but tried her best to look the part and seem interested.

"How dare you?" Venti asked pretending to be insulted. "I'm not a kid. Just because I like stuffed animals. Besides, they keep me company when I'm here." The bookshelves had some storybooks, poems, songs, plenty of books on dragon culture and heritage, and a few that looked like it was about the outside or old world.

Yuki ran her claw across a few of the books before noticing the older books, which reminded her of Elder Ironbarks story. Instead she turned to the bed with a smile, "I'm almost jealous of this bed." She said, looking at the bed and pushing down on it to test it for softness.
